SCIENCE
OF SELF-REALIZATION
In elapsing of the human history, one have been
always affirming that the durable things in the life are in
the mind and in each person's spirit. In the antiquity some
wise persons developed the sciences of the yoga and meditation.
These refined techniques are beneficial for all of the levels
of the human life. They cure and they strengthen the physical
body, they promote the concentration and the balance of the
mind, and provide deep peace and happiness to the spirit.
To expand the mind and to elevate the conscience,
the yogis developed the meditation. This mental technique
increases the memory and the intellectual ability. It also
removes the stress and it develops understanding and tolerance.
The meditation increases the willpower and the solemnity-control
capacity, acquiring a healthy mind, balanced and an integrated
personality.

As well as we cannot see the reflex of the
light clearly in a turbulent lake, in the same way that
we cannot reach the peace and our interior Being's blessedness
- the Supreme Conscience - because of the sludges and turbulences
of our inferior mind.
The self-realization process is the effort
of elevating the mind step the step, through all their levels,
and to purify them one to one. It is necessary to purify
each one of the layers; none can be neglected.

As a boy, Paramhansa Yogananda
practiced for hours the meditation, while it went removing
the air of the spine more deeply, until that he was completely
without breathing. He had ascended in soul conscience to a
higher reality:
"Ó Spírit, teach us to cure
the body,
revitalizing it with Your cosmic energy;
to cure the mind with the concentration and happiness;
to cure the disease of the ignorance of the soul
with the divine balm of the meditation in You."

BALANCE
The material and the spiritual are two parts of
a single universe and of a single truth.
When emphasizing a part or other, the man fails in reaching
the necessary balance to a harmonious development... he Practices
the art of living in this world without losing his/her interior
peace.
Follow the road of the balance to reach the wonderful
interior garden of the Self-realization. |
Be so attentive as possible. If
you have difficulty to feel the breathing, you can concentrate,
during some time, in the own process of feeling the diaphragm
and thorax expanding and contracting.
Gradually, as you are calmer, try to feel the
highest breathing and louder in the nose. |
Be sure that the glance is maintained strong
in the point among the brows along the practice. Don't allow
the eyes to follow the movement of the breathing.
If you think the mind wandered, simply return
the a conscience of the breathing and to the mantra.
|
CLUES
In any moment during the practice of this technique
you to make any effort to control the breathing. Let to flow
naturally. Gradually, you will notice that the pauses between
the inhalation and exhalation are being longer. Enjoy these
pauses, because they are a fast glance of the deep peace state
of the advanced meditation.
The duration of the practice depends on you,
but it always finishes with a deep breathing, and exhaling
the air three times. Then, maintaining the focused mind and
the energy internalized completely, feel the peace, love and
happiness inside of you. Sits down during at least five minutes
to enjoy the deeply relaxed state inside of you. |
|
There are many manners of sitting down that are
equally good. You can sit down in a chair or in the ground in
any position. However, two things are essential: The spine should
be erect, and you can relax completely.
Focus the attention in the point among the eyebrows.
This area, called "the spiritual eye", it is a center
of great spiritual energy. Eyes should be closed, as if focusing
a point a little above the head. |

DHARMA
With the wish to free all beings
I will always go for refuge
To Buddha, Dharma and Sangha
Until I reach Highest Enlightenment.
Enthused by compassion and wisdom
Today in Buddha's presence
I generate the mind of compassion
For the benefit of all sentient beings.
For as long as space remains
And as long as sentient beings remain
Until then may I too remain
To dispel the suffering of all beings.

As long as we live in this world
we are bound to encounter problems. If, at such times, we
lose hope and become discouraged, we diminish our ability
to face difficulties. If, on the other hand, we remember that
it is not just ourselves but everyone who has to undergo suffering,
this more realistic perspective will increase our determination
and capacity to overcome troubles. Indeed, with this attitude,
each new obstacle can be seen as yet another valuable opportunity
to improve our mind!
Thus we can strive gradually to become more compassionate,
that is we can develop both genuine sympathy for others' suffering
and the will to help remove their pain. As a result, our own
serenity and inner strength will increase.

"When it flies in an airplane, the person
cannot take care of other airplanes.
All they have to take care of their own airplane, and if some
danger, no other airplane there is can help other in that
condition. Similarly, at the end of the life, when the person
has to return home, to the Supreme, all have to take care
of itself without receiving another person's help.
However the help is offered on the earth before
flying in the space. In the same way, the spiritual master,
the father, the mother, the relatives, the husband and others
can render help during the life of a person, but while it
crosses the sea the person has to take care of the same and
use the instructions received previously."

TAOÌSM
A very old spiritual tradition, practiced and
developed by countless masters, along the millennia.
Taoist way proposes the restoration of the full state of life
and conciesness, called Tao.
For that, several means are used, as the practices
that promote the good physical health and mental-TAI
CHI CHUAN, the classic study written by the great masters
of the past, the mystic methods for the restoration of the
internal order and fundamentally, the meditation, as solemnity-transformation
road and spiritual elevation. |
Yin Yang |
The spiritual way Taoist has as objective is gradual
sacred wakening up that exists in the man and to unite him with
the sacred of the Sky.
That happens through practices that look for the
continuous expansion of the consciesness. With that, the Taoist
penetrates in spiritual dimensions more and more subtle and
approaches the expanded level of consciesness: the illumination.
